On April 15, 2013, the Sino-German cooperative skills teaching practice base jointly established by Zhangjiagang Secondary Vocational School and German bbw Education Group was officially unveiled.

In September 2013, the school signed a project cooperation agreement with the German bbw Group East Brandenburg Vocational Education Center Co., Ltd., clarifying that the two schools will carry out teaching cooperation in three projects of mechatronics, CNC cutting and automotive engineering. Since October 2013, the two schools have carried out practical training in electromechanical and mechanical majors. International cooperation in running schools will better serve the transformation and upgrading of Zhangjiagang's industry and improve the labor demand of enterprises.
